Would firstly like to say what great food I had when I came to your restaurant. I brought a book called "relish the midlands", where I have been working my way through the pubs and restaurants in there. I am attempting the beef cheeks recipe of yours, just wanted to know how you piped your mash into a peak?

I thought I would just drop you a quick line to say what an enjoyable Sunday lunch we had at The Red Lion yesterday to celebrate our daughters 21st.
We live in Cheshire and our daughter in Northampton. I found out about your establishment from the Telegraph Good Food Guide and it lived up to its reputation enabling us to have a lovely family lunch together with great food and excellent service ... and after 20 years in hospitality myself that comes as praise indeed.  Will recommend to all and carry on with the great work.

When we decided to have a family night out to celebrate our eldest son's birthday, we opted to try The Red Lion at East Haddon based on recommendation from our friends who live at West Haddon - who were always raving about the place. So we gave it a go and the whole evening was everything we'd been promised.  Tuesday night, terrific menu choices for a party of five, with the usual varying range of palates; the food beautifully prepared and elegantly served by helpful staff.  Great stuff indeed!
